CookPea Account & Data Deletion

Users can delete their CookPea account directly within the app.

To delete your account:

1. Open the CookPea app
2. Go to profile
3. If not signed in, sign into your account
4. Open settings (⚙️) and tap delete account
5. On the following alert dialog, tap delete account
6. Confirm that you understand that deleting your account cannot be undone and is permanent by tapping the checkboxes
7. Optional: Provide the reason for deleting your account
8. Optional: Allow CookPea to keep your recipes anonymised
9. Tap delete account

When you delete your account:

• Your profile information is permamently removed
• Your saved recipes and favorites are deleted
• Your created recipes are either deleted or anonymised, based on your choice
• Your associated personal data is removed from our systems

Some limited information may be retained if required for:

• Legal obligations
• Security purposes
